1996
Development, marketing and sales as well as support of software solutions
The Fantastic Corporation" was founded in 1996 and registered in the commercial register of Zug with a share capital of CHF 1 million. The company's business purpose was the development, marketing, distribution and support of software solutions for broadband data transmission via satellite and related applications in the field of information technology. Just three years after the company was founded, it went public on the “Neuer Markt” segment at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. TFC acquired a broadband patent portfolio and grew organically as well as through corporate acquisitions and strategic partnerships with Hewlett-Packard and IBM, among others. As a publicly traded company, TFC at times reached a market capitalization of several billion euros.
2002
An extensive restructuring and international cost-cutting program
Sales have been declining since the 2002 financial year. A comprehensive restructuring and international cost-cutting program was initiated by a new management team.
2006
Further strategy change
In 2006, a further change in strategy took place under the leadership of Cristian Mantzke-Beck (CEO), who together with Roger Meier-Rossi and Markus Gildner (CFO) formed the new Board of Directors. After balance sheet restructuring measures, the company received fresh money from a German investor group to build up a private equity business with permanent market capital under the name "Corporate Equity Partners".
2009
Oliver Krautscheid as restructuring manager to take office as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors (CEO).
In mid-2009, Oliver Krautscheid, as restructuring manager, took over as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors (CEO). Subsequently, further cost reduction programs were implemented and a new investment business was established. In 2014, the shareholders decided to delist the company from the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, which became effective in mid-2015. Since then, the TFC Group has been sustainably positioned and profitable with its national and international investments.
