The company's business purpose was the development, marketing, distribution and support of software solutions for broadband data transmission via satellite and related applications in the field of information technology. \n\nJust three years after the company was founded, it went public on the \u201cNeuer Markt\u201d segment at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.\n\nTFC acquired a broadband patent portfolio and grew organically as well as through corporate acquisitions and strategic partnerships with Hewlett-Packard and IBM, among others. Subsequently, further cost reduction programs were implemented and a new investment business was established.
